Rooster Fights

I just bought a Rhode Island Red rooster and introduced him into to my flock with 7 hens and I went out to check them and he was fight my Barred Rock rooster and I was wondering why they were fighting and if they will continue to fight?

two roosters for seven hens is asking for trouble. i imagine you will continue to have fights. if you're lucky they will fight until they figure out who is the dominant rooster and then have peace. but, there is a strong possibility they will have an on-going antagonism.

I actually have 14 hens. I bought the Rhode Island Red with 7 hens

sorry, i misunderstood. that certainly makes enough girls to go around. the guys probably just have to figure out who is dominant and divvy up the spoils.
