rooster four months old and molting

He is a Sicilian buttercup. They are slightly larger than Leghorns, so not big. He is not thriving if he is only a half pound at that age, but I don't think he is a bantam. With TLC he might improve or might not.
good morning Jed,
I have since gotten more info from the hatchery. They said he is in fact a Sicilian buttercup bantam. Rudy is doing great, weighs 26.4 oz. which is right on for a bantam. he will be 4 months old the 12th of October. He just started to crow.! He has captured my heart and that of my Ancona girl. I brought him in to weigh, check his feet etc. He is doing exceptionally well. I appreciate your help, thank you and have a blessed day.

That's great news. Buttercup bantams are very rare, so I wouldn't have thought he was one. Seems like he's doing just fine. Enjoy your flock!
