My hen has become a rooster and has to go. He is a beautiful 9 month old. He has been fed a 100% organic diet since I got him in August. I live near SeaTac Airport so know not many in this area can't have them but if you know anyone who would like one, I need to act fast. My husband will not allow a rooster and I knew this from the beginning. I should have acted as soon as I found out but was hoping he wouldn't crow (silly me). Now its too late, I don't want him to go into the stew pot (at least I can't do it myself).

Sorry about your boy :( Do you have information like what breed he is? That can help find them a home faster. Try posting him in the "Animals in need of free rehoming" section. You might also try your state thread here and on your local craigslist. Why won't your husband allow a rooster?

Here is my boy. I don't know his breed, I was told he was a pullet when I got him with several others who are all pullets. Hubby sleeps during the day and can't deal with the outside noise. I live in a very urban are so even though they are allowed, not in my house, are they.
