I can only guess where he came from originally, I got him from a local rooster rescue. I know that she works primarily through our local feed store; which means that he was purchased there as a baby [probably as an EE pullet], I say EE because our feed store to the best of my memory didn't have favorelles. I can say this - he is as sweet as can be, he lets anybody pick him up, and I think he's beautiful no matter what he is. I'm mainly interested in what he is, because I have an EE hen that I'd like to mate him with. I'm on the quest for the multicolored egg basket

. I will say that he has the funniest crow I've ever heard.

I love my rooster rescue lady. She also gave me the most beautiful sweet black cochin roo too.

He's just an EE or EE cross.

Salmon Faverolles have 5 toes, which is a dominant trait; even a cross will have 5 toes.

Fav's have a different leg color too.

Also the color Salmon is Silver Wheaten with mahogany/dark red. Meaning a black and WHITE bird with red shoulders. Yours is a golden duckwing. Black and yellow w/red.
