ROOSTER IN NEED OF HOME

HI,
I found a rooster wandering the streets, was able to capture him and he is safe. Unfortunately, we cannot keep him in our yard as it is against the city ordinance.

Does BackYard chickens take roosters? Or does anyone know a sanctuary in the Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach/Miami-Dade area?

Hi and and thank you for rescuing the rooster! Backyard Chickens (BYC) is an online community, so it can't take roosters itself . One of the members might be able to take your rooster though! In the meantime, here are some sources:
