Anyone know what could have happened to our roosters toe/toenail? It was much more swollen than this but it has been several weeks and the injury still doesn’t look fully healed? Could there be something jammed inside? His nail looks crooked. Any suggestions or info is greatly appreciated!

Looks like some kind of injury, maybe got caught on something. Hard to say, he may loose the nail, or the tip of the toe. I would soak it in epsom salts or diluted chlorhexidine daily, gently clean it up, and apply some plain triple antibiotic ointment all over it. One of my roo's lost most of one of his back toes at some point, and it was healed up before I even noticed. He does just fine. Just watch for infection.

Thanks for the quick reply! Other than his feet and legs being dirty from the mud/rain we got recently, do his legs/scales look fine? We are fairly new to having chickens 🥴
