I’ve noticed that my rooster has an injury on his 1st toe, it looks like a poor trimming job but I’ve never cut his nails until now (which is when I saw it). Does anyone know what it could be or if it’s infected?
“1” is his other normal foot
“2” is his injured one

How is he housed?

Looks like minor Contact Dermatitis, see that his bedding stays dry and he has a place to roost that is up off the wet ground.

If he's caged, changed bedding more often and keep everything dry.
