I have a rooster that I purchased with three hens. He's very sweet. Pick him up all the time. just recently I bought four maran chickens 17-18 weeks old now. Introduced them to the hens without the rooster. Day before I tried to introduce him to the Marans in their pen. Did not go well. He became immediately aggressive jumping toward them feet first. Just picked him up and away from them. All hens are doing pretty well. They stay separated still but have only been with each other for three days now. When should I try to introduce my Rooster again?
