It sounds like he is much older, and sometimes they get crabby. Always solve problems for the peace in the flock. Sometimes birds need removed from the flock to do so. You will enjoy the flock much more, when he is gone.

Bad rooster is dinner there's too many good roosters out there you can go on Craigslist and get one for free I agree dinner plate for him
