Your cockerel is likely to stay a pain in the bum for a while longer, until he matures out of the hormonal crazies. However once he's older and you've gotten him a few more lady friends, he should calm down some and not be so rough on the girls.
But do keep a good eye on things for now to be sure he's not being too mean to your pullet.
You might consider keeping them separated
