For him to rule the roost, it has to be his first. Remove hens and let him setup dominance of the coop first and then allow the hens one by one back to his roost. Start with the hen lowest on the totem pole. Do not overwhelm him.

Hi, i am new to this group and one of my roosters is all beat up

i cleaned him up but he is not well any advice ?

How is he getting beaten up? How many roosters and hens do you have, and how large is their living area? What do you mean by "not well"? You may get some better answers if you start a new thread with your question, giving some details in the Emergencies section. If he's not doing well, I'd separate him at least until he gets his strength back.

He is two years old and we have 20 hens and two roos. his back has no feathers at all
