Out of nowhere he comes up lame like this. He was fine yesterday. Today he was bent over, leaning forward with his head down, eyes closed, not moving unless he sensed something.
What on earth could this be? He is molting. He's been dropping feathers for about 2 weeks but I don't think he got that weak from molting.
I put vitamins in his water and I added a few caps of apple cider vinegar recently to about 2 gals of water.
My dad thinks he fell off the roost and hurt himself. He's rather large so I guess anything is possible but the fact that he acts so weak is what bothers me the most. We picked him up and looked for injuries from predators. His eyes and sinuses are clear. We did not check his feet. I guess I will do that tomorrow.
Any other suggestions?
