Rooster Is Really Strange

My EE rooster is an older roo but he isn't very busy.

He keeps my hens in line especially about food.

All my hens are young (20-25weeks old) so maybe he's not interested in them yet.

I have never seen a rooster who doesn't like being around 10 hens (if you get my meaning).

Does anyone know why?

Maybe you should crumble up some viagra into his feed? As often as you see those commercials on TV, it seems like ED is an epidemic and maybe your roo has it too??

Actually I have know idea what that is so

Really I'm dying to get some EE chicks out of my EE hens. They will be full blood and my roo is beautiful so I want babies.

My roo is about 3-4 years old so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I have a silkie hen and I'm kinda hoping that my silkie chick will be a roo and then I can have some beautiful silkie babies.

Until then I want my EE hens to get broody and sit some eggs.

I have a Silkie roo, no one laying yet, and he's trying to climb on everyone.

DH has started calling him Hugh Heffner because he's 'wearing' a smoking jacket and living with 6 ladies. But the buxom Buff Orps beat the daylights out of Hef when he climbs aboard. Everyone beats him up if he tries to ride a Silkie. And he runs like heck when the Americaunas give him the evil eye.

LOL! I wish I knew how to post pics and then you guys could see my roo and my hens.I just tell everybody that my roo is very polite.

Does it bother the hens to be in there, well what I mean is does it prevent them from laying eggs? I didn't think so but I was just wondering. My rooster seems to show no interest in my hens except to peck them, does anybody know why? He has 10 hens and I would have thought any rooster would be lucky to have 10 all to himself but not this one.
