It has all the signs of a rooster the beard, the saddle feathers. The attitude attacks everything Spurs things and it is my only chicken that I own. It's an indoor chicken and one day we left for the whole day he was in his cage and I came back and there was an egg in it

I have a hen that can be quite vicious and attacks often. It has lots of rooster behaviours but is definately a hen and lays beautiful eggs.

Rabbits and cats also give people metaphorical kittens in determining sex, you’re not a real vet until you spay a Tom cat! At least it wasn’t a hen turned rooster, enjoy the eggs!

Hi - I have 8 gold laced Polish hens - and 2 rooster - and that is definitely a hen. Here is a picture of my rooster at 5 months old - the most recent picture I have. He is much taller and more gorgeous now. The roosters stand more upright than the hens.

This "rooster" began laying eggs (supposedly) on April 2. There are 3 threads on this bird. Sounds like an April Fool's joke to me, either played on OP by a third party, or being perpetuated on BYC by OP.
