Rooster making different sounds.

i bought 5 brown leghorns the other day an the boys started acting different. This is a new one.What is he doing? Hes making a repetive noise. It's low.I'm not good at describing noises. One of the laying hens was in there too.

He is trying to coax the hens into a nest box-a type of courtship display-kind of. One of my 11 week old serama roosters started to do that a couple of days ago. He also finds tidbits and calls the hens in the same fashion as a mother hen calling her chicks to come and eat. These are behaviors to attract hens. It's also a way of competing with the other roosters to get the attention of the hens.
