I'm sad to report that I have to get rid of my chickens. I just don't have the time I would like to devote to them unexpectedly. I have found a good home for my girls, but can't seem to find anyone who wants a rooster that doesn't plan on eating him for dinner.

So, can a rooster live happily without a hen? He's very sweet, but I worry about how he'll react once his two girlfriends are gone. This isn't a permanent arrangement, just until I find a place that suits him.

He will be fine with or without hens. A lot of people keep them completely apart from their hens until its time to breed them. Those pens are called bachlor pads...dont worry about it, he will be fine until you can find him a safe home.

Hi .I also had to rehome my roo.Made me crazy trying to find someone that would not eat him.Just by chance I asked at my vets office,if somebody wanted him.His luckey day,hes now living at my vets farm.He has 25 girl friends. You might try the same thing as I did, Good luck.
