My rooster's comb's colors fluctuate very often-especially if he's a "teenager" lol. I'd venture to say it's fine (but ofc got more opinions). If you're concerned you could give them a vitamin boost, that's what I do if I'm unsure about something. I like Poultry Cell. And props for taking him in, it always makes me happy to hear of people helping chickens!!
