Okay, so at one point I had a batch of bantams all but one turned out to be roos, so I created a "bachelor pad" for my overflow of rooster. It has slowly dwindled down, and sadly when I came home from work after dark I found I'm left with one lone roo in my bachelor pad. I already have a roo with my flock of 10 hens, so I won't be adding him, and I don't want to break up my girls into two flocks. I have noticed an abundance of roosters that are in need of a country home from cityfolk, but I don't know if its safe to add roosters... mine has never been around the hens since I realized he was a roo, so can I add to his bachelor pad or not?
