Since my flock is only for pets and eggs, I am not sure what to do with a roo! What do you love about them?I’m not at all an expert, but I’ve been told that if you see pink in their combs at such a young age, it’s likely a cockerel. That usually works for me. Based on that, it looks like you have 5ish cockerels. With the pea combs, the males have three more distinct rows, while the females blend more into one. But also check their legs. My cockerels often have thicker, longer legs and a taller stance. And they’re usually more friendly and outgoing. I hope you get to keep some of your cockerels. I love my roos.
