Some do, some don’t. She looks close to laying age, should be any day now.

EE are frequently slow at maturing. She may not lay until spring.

Some just take longer than others. I got more pullets in beginning of March. All began laying awhile except her. She started being in interested in the nest box 2 days ago but not yet. I’ve heard of people waiting on their EE’s for awhile

Yeah she does like to take her time. But I’m fine with it. As long as she’s happy!

Also, when we are on the topic of hens, aren’t my 2 naked necks (who are both laying) supposed to get bigger. They seem kind of small for a naked neck. They are bigger compared to my other hens but still I’ve seen pictures of them where they’re like the size of turkeys!
