Rooster or Hen? Please read

Okay folks…. New chicken lady. I have this lovely 13 week old chicken. Purchased them from a local farm, supposed to be a Orpington BYM. I am confused. This chicken has had a large comb since I got them at 4 weeks old. But I don’t see the saddle feathers? Am I missing them?? What am I missing??

If you're sure that it is 13 weeks old then I think it has to be a cockerel.

I think so too…. But I can’t see the pointy saddle feathers. Do they take longer to develop?

They can come in early or late. 12 weeks is the usual time, but it is not unusual for it to start many weeks later.

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe it is a female with a damaged ovary. It's not too unusual for that to happen. It causes hormone imbalance and very large, red combs and wattles are a side effect.
