I am wondering if I have a Red Sex Link Hen or Rooster. This chicken is showing characteristics of both. I have included 3 pictures to check out. Thanks for your help!

A red Red Sex Link is always going to be a pullet. The roosters are white with some red feathering. When they are chicks, the girls are yellow with buff on their backs and the boys are clear yellow.

My Red Sex Link roo, Charlie, at about 14 weeks old.

An 18 week old Red Sex Link, Ida, (on the far right) that has been laying brown eggs for about a week. She is from the same hatch as Charlie. The increased size and coloration of your pullet's comb and wattles are a sign that you'll be getting eggs from her soon!

Thanks for your help so fast. I realized I posted in the wrong forum by accident so wasn't expecting a response so quickly!

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Cute bird! Good luck with her and welcome to our flock!
