Rooster or Hen?

I see no obvious signs of a cockerel at all. Why do people think it's male?

Since she was smaller people would tell me that she was because she has a little comb , but i figured most hens can grow one too, so i didnt want to believe it. But my husbands pretty upset cause he doesnt know what it is and doesnt want to believe me lol

6 week Old Buff Orpington.
Many people are saying it looks like its a rooster but i don't see it. I raised an actual rooster years before , i just dont remember if it looked like this as he grew. Could it be? Its Name is Peep.

Pullet would have red comb and waddles at this age.

What do they usually file their own with outside?

They would be pecking at the ground and wiping their beaks on the ground and storms to file them down

I keep a few concrete blocks in the run, they use it to feek their beaks on.

Looks like a pullet but don't be so sure right now, the chicken in my profile pic is a roo but we thought he was a hen!

What do they usually file their own with outside?

I have some bricks and rocks in my run that they use. I didn't even know about that until now, the bricks were meant to keep the door open.

Going to parrot here, pullet, mine's comb was the same at that age, they're just finally pinking up a bit.
