Rooster or hen

I have a 2-3 month old chick which is an Americana she is very aggressive but has a very small crown and waddle. Is she a rooster or a hen.
Can you please post a full body photo and possibly one of its face?? Pullets can be aggressive with each other. It’s their way of establishing the pecking order.

Does the chick crow? If yes, he's a cockerel and will grow into a rooster.
In a few months, look for eggs--if yes, she's a pullet and will mature into a hen.

Americanas and Easter Eggers do tend to have very small combs and wattles compared to many other breeds. If you have a bunch of chicks the same breed and age, you can compare which ones have larger/redder combs (cockerels) and which ones have smaller/paler combs (pullets). If you only have one, then of course there's no others to compare with. (Comparing with different breeds or different ages does not work nearly as well, because the comb changes with age, and different breeds mature at different rates, and have different final size/shape of comb.)

Some hens are aggressive, some roosters are aggressive, so you won't know for sure from that.

Gonna have to have a picture.

:goodpost: Pictures really help, when you have questions like this!
