Rooster or hen?

Handsome pair of cockerels! They may be okay since they were raised together. There will probably be a few fights for the top position, but usually they will just try to show each other who is boss. Make sure they have plenty of hens between them both and lots of extra space for roaming and space to go to if they need to.

I’m in the process of building them a rather large coop with a run and they will get to free range during the day. They love to stay together.

Ok so my white one is crowing but the frizzle still isn’t crowing. Is that normal?

Yep, normal. It will crow when it wants to, or it won’t.

if you get more, I don't suggest more frizzles. Breeding frizzle gene to frizzle gene creates a chicken who has very poor feathering and very fragile feathers.
Also, frizzle is just a gene... not a breed. Does he have feathered feet?
