Rooster or hen?

Both are cockerels. It depends on how many hens you have if you can keep both. How many hens do you have?

Don’t worry, they won’t fight as long as they have space to be away from each other. An average fight will be 2 every 3 days (or for me at least).

As of right now 3. I am in the process of building a larger coop and I’m going to get more. Because I know 3 isn’t enough.

I would recommend 8-10 hens per rooster. With your current number of pullets it is highly advised to only keep one

Handsome pair of cockerels! They may be okay since they were raised together. There will probably be a few fights for the top position, but usually they will just try to show each other who is boss. Make sure they have plenty of hens between them both and lots of extra space for roaming and space to go to if they need to.
