Maybe, but not all cockerels/roosters fight that much.Watch out! They’re boys, and they’ll be fighting in no time!![]()
Don’t worry, they won’t fight as long as they have space to be away from each other. An average fight will be 2 every 3 days (or for me at least).Am I able to keep both?
Well, we didn’t have much space in our yard.Maybe, but not all cockerels/roosters fight that much.
As of right now 3. I am in the process of building a larger coop and I’m going to get more. Because I know 3 isn’t enough. Both are cockerels. It depends on how many hens you have if you can keep both. How many hens do you have?
They go at it sometimes then they are always together. They came from the same batch.Don’t worry, they won’t fight as long as they have space to be away from each other. An average fight will be 2 every 3 days (or for me at least).
I am getting moreI would recommend 8-10 hens per rooster. With your current number of pullets it is highly advised to only keep one![]()
