Here are my remaining 3 chicks. Left to right is supposed to be a buff orpington, white crested polish and the last one is supposedly an easter egger.

The RIR is one of the sweetest chickens and likes to follow me around too. It always finds a tasty treat while foraging and runs around the yard like it found a prize. They got 2 right!
The Orp is a Rhode Island Red (RIR).
I think all the Polishes are roos, but the Golden Laced is the only one I'm positive about. Also think the RIR is a roo, but EE is a pullet. @cherrynberryOK, so I'm reviving this thread exactly one month later. Any guesses on roo or hen for my chicks?
I've got a RIR, black white crested polish, gold laced polish, white polish and an easter egger all around 10 weeks old now.
Everyone is doing great! Almost positive my gold laced is a roo. I don't see any combs on my polish chickens yet though.
Oh no! I was really hoping the RIR would be a hen what makes you think roo?I think all the Polishes are roos, but the Golden Laced is the only one I'm positive about. Also think the RIR is a roo, but EE is a pullet. @cherrynberry
It has very red and big comb and wattles. Also just says roo to meOh no! I was really hoping the RIR would be a hen what makes you think roo?
Get comb shots of all the polishes, with the crest pushed back. EE is a pullet. RIR looks like a cockerel, another photo of him may help though. I see at least one polish cockerel.OK, so I'm reviving this thread exactly one month later. Any guesses on roo or hen for my chicks?
