I think cockerel, but need to know the age to be sure.
8 months. I had 2 roosters that began crowing at 3 months with fully formed bodies. However, this chicken has never crowed (nor has it ever laid an egg). This chicken has seemed to have alot of genetic issues ever since it was just a baby chick 🐥 I consider it to be my special needs child. It couldn't even figure out how to use perches on its own, which the other birds figured out on their own. I had to train this one to use the perches because it kept sleeping on the floor and getting pooped 💩 on by the girls.
It gets bullied by the other chickens too, was almost killed one time so i let it live in my bedroom with me for a bit. It is by far the biggest chicken in my flock but it is so cowardly I have never once seen it fight back or peck another chicken, it doesn't have a bad bone in its body. When it gets attacked it just screams and runs away and flies up on a perch. Silly Speckles.

At 8 months I would say it is female. It has a weird tail but shows no other signs of it being a male of that age.
