rooster or hen????

I'm new to raising chickens...this sweet little blue splash maran is supposed to be a hen, but I'm not so sure by the looks of the rapidly growing comb. (S)he is about 6 weeks old. We live in a town that doesn't allow roosters, so I'm a bit concerned. Here are a couple of photos if anyone can give their opinion, I'd be grateful! 2 photos as a 1-week old and the two others at 6 weeks. ...(s)he's the white one.

What you are referring to is the COMB, not the crop. The crop is where they store food, it's in the chest area. And by the looks of it, that's a rooster.
