Rooster or Hen?

Hey all I've got a D'uccle chick that is about 4 or 5 months old now and we think it's a hen but we aren't totally sure. Just looking for outside opinions.

can you get a pic of the comb? it doesnt look straight like a d'uccles. heres my roo blue

hes around 7.5 to 8 months in this pic. i think you might have a mix there other wise its a hen

edit: i got him at 4 months old and he had a much bigger comb then yours does in that pic.

I'm not familiar with this breed, but if that age is right, I'm gonna say hen.

He/she also has a tuft on his/her head. Mixed breed. If that's a straight comb, it's a girl for sure. I don't see any saddle feathers, but those neck feathers are darker. Can you get a better pic of the comb?

i also noticed that they legs arent that feathered and the hocks aren't that presant. i really think you have a mixed breed here.

Agree that it is not pure d'uccle. Probably half d'uccle and half some crested breed with a v-comb (at least that is what it looks like to me) and lack of leg feathering. How many toes?
