what is the difference between an aracauna and an easter egger??

the way their spelled,,

the color eggs they have,, and a bunch others,, i have both,, and always confused which is which,, then people say the opposite of each other on the difference,,haha,, so imma let someone else tell ya,,,,,,,,,,(i play it safe hehe

)

We actually got (9) chicks from a local Agway. We were told they were Aracauna pullets.

Most feed stores and hatcheries mislabel EEs as Araucana. Since I'm tired of explaining the difference, please view Anne's wonderful response on the link below about the difference. lol Regardless of what they are, I agree they are very pretty. I have raised all 3 - Ameraucana, EE and Araucana and there is a distinct difference for each of them. I highly recommend some online research to clarify further. Lots of people are being misled by the incorrect labeling of these birds.
