Rooster or naughty Hen

Hi. I'm just wondering about my new chicken that my neighbor gave me ( a few months ago now) I've a mix of silkies and bantams in one pen and Highland browns in another. They all get let out for a few hours each day. Each time this pictured chicken mates with others. It has spurs and just today killed my bantam rooster. Just wondering what it is? a hen or rooster. Thanks guys

He's a rooster which is why he mates everyone and he killed your bantam rooster. Roosters don't like competition and your poor little bantam had no chance of winning the fight.

If he were mine, he would be swimming in a soup pot with noodles today. Most roosters are nothing but trouble. It would be best if you never let him with the bantams. He'll probably kill your silkies next because they are very docile.

even IF this is a hen, she'd still be dinner. Naughty isn't the word for it. Some roosters don't crow. Some hens do.

That is a hen. There is no trace of male feathering on that bird. Sounds like a very aggressive hen, I would think twice about keeping her. Hens can have spurs.
