I know they are a bit young yet but a couple of our "pullets" have some interesting feather patterns. I'm just wondering if I need to start preparing my children for possible multiple roos and having to rehome some. My son would be thrilled if the one he picked out turns out to be a roo and we actually gave her the name Sam just in case. I have never thought the possibility of her being a roo until today when I went out and her comb was bright pink and she has splotchy gray feathers and charged me when I first stepped in their coop. She has always been the quiet one in the back so this behavior surprised me along with her bright pink comb. I am hoping she was just excited about getting to go outside today since they were shup up all day yesterday. There are two more with very uneven feather colors so I am curious what everyone else thinks of them too. The first three are Sam, middle three are Mable and the last three are Lilly.

actually with comparison to the other pullets, it very likely could be a male..
or maybe just a fast developing pullet..

I'm waiting to hear what others say/..
