A friend of a friend painted this and wants to know what breed. Any ideas?

I agree, but the legs look yellow. It doesn't really look like anything pure or based on an actual roo, really.

So he may be a fantasy rooster

Beautiful painting. If he had feather legs, I would say a salmon favorelle mix.
