Over the last 2 months plus we have been building rooster pens to keep my breeding roosters separated. It can also be used as a quarantine or for single breeding. There are still some things to finish up like the preditor apron on one of the short sides. The rest is just improvments little fixes here and there.

Beautiful roosters in your video. What breed are they?

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
Thank you!! They are Sulmtaler. If you look beyond the fence at about 10 seconds you see the hens. Getting ready to start putting them in breeding groups for spring.

Yes, I know it's still time until spring... but they have to get used to each other so the girls will allow the rooster to mate with them. As a breeder I need the best possible hatch rate.
I know your winter is probably a day or two longer than mine.
:D:D:D

Very nice construction!
Love the door latches and removable walls.
Will you add roosts in the 'boxes' above?

Not biological quarantine?
Thank you!!! :D :D I appreciate it!

I am talking about quarantine for a new animal... or maybe a cold. I like to separate them then as well.

I have some plastic containers that I use for nest boxes. So whenever I have a hen in there I will place one in there.
