Rooster Picking on one Specific hen.

The rooster has to go. He will eventually kill your hens.
You either separate him for a few months until his hormones calm down, in the meantime get at least 3 more hens for him.
1 rooster with 2 hens might work if the rooster is a true gentleman which is not really your case.
Keep in mind that he might just be a rotten rooster, and he might be still aggressive to the hens even if you wait for the hormones to calm down and add more hens to the flock.
Remember that the only purpose of keeping a rooster is to make fertile eggs to sell and/or hatch. If you're not planning to hatch your own eggs, a rooster is pretty much useless.
If you can't keep more birds in your setup, you need to get rid of the rooster. It doesn't matter if you love him. It's not you that has to love the rooster. It's the hens that has to love him, and if he's mean to them I'm pretty sure they'll be much happier without him.

Yeah, i guess you're right, i was trying to avoid this outcome in the end, but i have a few people lined up who just might like a crack crazy rooster, or I'll give him back to the breeder. Such a shame, though, he was getting to be such a handsome bird, with glossy purple tail feathers coming in and dutifully crowing at 5 AM every morning...
But after i get rid of this rooster, I'll only have two hens, and i don't have the time to introduce another hen and go through more pecking order combat, so will two hens be enough? Sure, egg wise I'm sure it'll be fine, but being social birds and everything, will they be fine?

Hey everyone. I have been raising chickens over 10 years now and have never had this problem. My current flock of pullets and one rooster, are all around 5-6 months old. My flock consists of 5 dark Cornish (4 hens and my one and only rooster) 2 delewares, 2 turkens, 2 Plymoth Rocks, 2 Gold sex links and 1 Buff orpington. The past two days My rooster is chasing off one of my corninsh hens to the point where she does not coop up at night with the rest of my flock. I Am almost 100% possative that it is not another rooster since all birds came at the same time and they are from the same hatch. I have never had this happen so it has been bothering me. any advice would be great as I dont want to have to remove one or the other. Thank you in advance.
THIS MIGHT NOT BE SOMETHING YOU ARE EQUIPPED TO DO, BUT I'LL PUT IT OUT THERE ANYWAY. i HAVE NEVER OWNED A ROOSTER, BUT I SEE HOW BRUTAL CHICKENS CAN BE IF THEY DONT LIKE SOMEONE IN THE PECKING ORDER. I ONCE STOPPED THIS PROBLEM AFTER I SAW THE PICKED ON HEN WASNT GOING TO DO ANYTHING. I HAVE A RED LIGHT DEVICE. ITS A MEDICAL DEVICE SOLD FOR HUMANS BY THE RED COMPANY. THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM OUT THERE BUT YOU HAVE TO GET RIGHT FREQUENCIES AND SUFFICIENT DELIVERY OF POWER. I TOOK MY BEDRAGGELD LITTLE HEN ONTO MY LANAI IN A CAGE AND GAVE HER SEVERAL LIGHT TREATMENTS A DAY TWENTY MINUTES PER. I GAVE HER GREAT FOOD THAT SHE NORMALLY MIGHT NOT HAVE DAILY, THAT THE OTHERS WEREN'T GETTING. I TALKED TO HER WITH MY HEART AND PRAYED FOR HER. DID THIS FOR ABOUT THREE, MAYBE FOUR DAYS WHEN SHE NO LONGER HAD THAT BEDRAGGLED, TIMID LOOK. I PUT HER BACK IN THE RUN AND THE NASTIEST BULLYETTE WENT TO PECK HER AND THAT LITTLE CHICKEN DROVE THE OTHER ONE BACK INTO A CORNER WITH GREAT DIRECTED AGGRESSIVENESS. PROBLEM SOLVED PERMANENTLY. THESE COMMERCIAL CHICKEN FARMS USE RED LIGHT TO HELP KEEP CHICKENS ALIVE UNTER THEIR BRUTAL HANDS. THE FORGET OR DONT KNOW THAT AN ANIMALS CREATOR IS THEIR JUDGE. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE. BY THE WAY, THE RED LIGHT THERAPY HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. I PURCHASED IT BEFORE THE COVID PLANDEMIC. REALLY FEEDS THE MITOCHONDRIA IN THE CELLS OF ONE'S BODY. MY DOG LOVES IT TOO.
