I too am hoping for a gentle, person-friendly rooster. Just bought a local Ameraucana Rooster to make my young hens happy.

Now what to name him?

I hate to point out that he's an easter egger, not an ameraucana.

Perhaps. Small floppy side comb, not a pea comb.
But I would guess if he were a hen he would lay blue eggs.

Good enough to do my more normal Ameraucana hens. They like him and he certainly has a nice disposition and is not a wayward flyer getting into mischief.
Now I would be interested in seeing what the last of his hatchmates look like. They were purchased as Ameraucana sexed chicks and he was a surprise.

Lovely pics. Elvis fits the name. Beautiful breed those sebrights - less useful as egg layers. Am unfamiliar with the Dutch bantams but hear they are good layers. Nice roosters those.
