i have 12 columbian rock chickens, one of wich is a rooster. and i just recentaly got another two chicks, and i think one of them is also a rooster... and i am wondering if there can be two roosters in a flock that small? my columbian rock rooster is about 1 month older than the other. I have been told by some people that if you really want to have two roosters, you can try and keep both and just see how it goes and if they will get along, But i have also been told that there should not be two roosters.... Someone please tell me!

I would be more concerned about your hens getting over bred. They will get sick of that! It will wear on their back and damage feathers.

I had two roosters with 9 hens. They wore the hens out breeding. One of the roosters found a new home down the road.
