Rooster problems

Yes spurring can be a very fatal weapon my oldest rooster is almost 7 and I had to remove his spurs after they became about 4 inches long can you imagine that being shoved into your flesh. Also why did you not separate him he could have survived and then his "flocking days" would not be over.
 
Well,I had not extra pens,and the 1 I had,there was no roost.It was aoutdoor type,but no coop,etc wasn't in it.
 
See that's your problem right there I have 4 flocks of chickens and 6 chicken coops the other 2 are in case of emergency even so if those coops are full then I put them in the barn.
 
If I can get a video up you might like to see the other animals my chickens have contact with sheep, horses, cats, and the dog when he is out we are ranchers so showing off our livestock is kinda what we do a lot up here.
Where did this idea lost? :>
Btw, Im fully interested in chickens, with rooster teritory establishing etc
