Rooster proportions?

How many roosters are needed for about 10 hens

I would say one. Maybe 2. I read on here that for 11-12 hens you should have 1 roo if you want to keep them.

What would be the pros and cons to having two? Double protection or would it be worse

Well the hens could be over mated or whatever and the 2 roosters might fight. It also depends on if you free range or have them in a run. If you free range then 2 might be fine since they have lots of space.

Yea they will be free ranges and be in the coop only at night

It would probably be okay to get two I guess. Are you getting full grown ones or are they still chicks?

Okay well if they are raised together and such they may not fight because they know each other and such. But if they are going to fight then they are just going to fight no matter what. Unless you keep hem separated.
