Rooster question- is 2 a crowd?

Update: I have yet to combine my flocks, since hubby and I need to combine and expand the run on my main coop. The EE Roo, who I've named Mr. Big, is pretty cocky and picks on my smaller Favorelles Roo.

I'm under the impression that he's threatened by my toddler. He's crowed a few times when my son (1 1/2) has approached the coop, so I'm keeping a VERY close eye on him.

I've begun to let everybody free range together and my two older gals Lucy and Rosemary don't seem a bit intimidated by Mr Big. In fact, he runs away from them!

Ha ha! A Rooster respects those older ladies! They'll whip his butt for him if he doesn't behave. I would keep a close watch when your toddler is around. If he attacks your child, get rid of him. It's not worth the risk.
