Rooster question (this is my first attempt to hatch eggs)

So here is the quick version of the story.

My dad has an Olive egger rooster at his property, I took 2 of my hens (black copper maran & leghorn/americana cross) to 'visit' and get fertilized. I am hoping for some interesting crosses. They have been there for 4 days. now for my questions

How long should I leave my hens there?
For how long will they lay fertilized eggs?

Also, I have another hen that has been really broody for the past couple weeks, should I let her hatch the eggs or should I use an incubator?

Give them about another 3 days and the eggs should be fertilized up to another week or so.
