Rooster question

Ok chicken people I need some help here. I have a small flock 8 hens and 2 Roos or so I thought. Yesterday I heard crowing coming from the bushes but thought it odd because my two roos were right next to me quiet as could be. I found it was Ozzie - my black orpington hen. She...it...is young - born in April or may-ish I can't remember. We were certain she was a hen because 1. It doesn't look like a roo. And 2. There are absolutely no spurs on the legs. Not even a nub where spurs will eventually be. Help. What do I have? A spurless rooster or a really confused hen?!

I guess here it could look like a rooster but still no spurs. I just don't know...

That's a roo - delayed spur or being spurless for life is not uncommon.

I agree. definitely a rooster. I've had some that have not developed spurs in till almost a year old. it just depends. and keep in mind that he's still young.
to bad you lost a hen though.
