I'm glad you joined the "flock."

He may very well still be breeding the hens. I often don't see my roosters breed their hens, but the eggs are still fertile. They just do it when I'm not around.

Hi i have my first lot of firtile eggs in an incubator. I have one who started with a small hole about 24hrs ago. There was no change until about 12 hrs later then the chick made a good go of it but did not break through, there has been no more movement since. How long does it take for the chicks to break through the shell?
