I have a pullet roo who was born on father's day, and some hens. Will my roo mate with them?

Pullet roo??? I have a roo that is 12+ weeks old and he is mating with my older girls who at 18 weeks old.

mine is 13 weeks 1 day (exactly)

If he's a pullet roo perhaps he'll mate himself and hatch the chicks!

(Pullet is the term used to describe young female chickens

)

To answer your question, when he's of age he'll likely mate just about anything that'll let him.

ya ur cockerel will mate with your hens when he is ready i doubt he cares if they are but he will when he is ready that will be about 20-ish weeks give or take

YOung roosters are the worst. They are extra "romantic" and they are very rough about the whole process.
