I have a choice to make and need some guidance. I had a Moran rooster that was pretty aggressive with me ( I got scratched up legs and feet from him attacking when I entered the coop to change water and fill food.) and with my kids as well. ( I witnessed my 8 year old tearing across the yard, screaming in terror, with the rooster in hot pursuit and it literally climbed up my 4 year old in an act of aggression). I tried to keep him but the aggressive behavior was too much and he met the axe. I now have some new birds three of which turned out to be roosters. I would like to keep one to hopefully have some little chicks in the future. My question is, which would be the best for my small ( 7-8 bird) flock and which ( more importantly ) would be the best for my kids and me? I have 1 Buff Orpington rooster and Light Bramha rooster. Two of them will be departing soon. Advice on which one to keep or how to make this decision?

I have a brahma rooster and I love him. We have an understanding so he has never attacked me. I make sure if I'm going to mess with a hen he is put up in the pen so he doesn't even get the opportunity to come after me. I can pick him up and carry him around, but I don't mess with him much and he doesn't mess with me. I have a five year old that he will attack IF my son is running around him. As long as my son is being quiet and walking he won't bat an eye, but if he goes running past him he will give chase!
