Hi all.
This is my 12wk old Australian aracuana, "Chigen" (kids named him when he was a tiny chick).
He? was the first chick to hatch.

He? has beautiful green and purple feathering and he's? super friendly.

He is our only rooster at the moment, if he's a rooster šŸ“

I thought Chigen was a hen until the green feathers started coming through in the last few weeks.
Although i originally thought rooster as a chick.

All black birds have some form of sheen. Some green, some blue, some even have purple. A colored sheen is not indicative of a cockerel.

You bird does look quite masculine. I see what may look like male saddles starting, but I'm not 100% positive. Post updated pics in a couple weeks.
