Hi All! I noticed this AM our rooster just sort of lay down after they were let out. He was in a daze. He usually will chase off our two drakes from the hens but he didn’t today. He was crowing this AM, eating, walking around after this incident.
Then this afternoon, he was free ranging standing guard, then time to put them all up...he was in this daze again, very slow, then laid down. I got him inside; then he was fine, then it happened one more time but this time he laid on his side.
we rescued this rooster and he has been a blessing to our flock.. I gave him vitamin E with eggs and had no problem eating. I’m going to give some vitamins in his water. We have him isolated now
has this happened to anyone else?? Should I keep him isolated? Thank you!
