Rooster singing when he eats?

Why does my rooster make a ton of racket when he is eating something? It can be anything. Bread or even chicken feed, he'll start making a TON of racket and different noises.

Thats usually him telling his "ladies" dinner is served. You will find at times he will be out in yard and will find something and will give out a chatter and the hens will come running to see what he found for them.

Sometimes when they don't come running like they should for treats or for them to get a bit closer to home, I'll make those noises and they come running as fast as they can. It's cute, even the roos come running. They all start looking for treats and aren't happy if there aren't any to be found.
